Tayah's 2nd Birthday

Tayah's birthday was this past Sunday so we had a little party for her at the park on Saturday.  I made cupcakes the night before and she kept saying "dad birfday" and I said no Tayahs birthday.  So then she just kept going around saying Tayah Birfday.  

Sorry serious picture overload but I couldn't just put a few on there:).I love my sweet Tayah.  She is so concerned about others and always wants to help out.  She is going to be a great big sister.  She is totally into princess.  She still loves her babies and taking care of them.  We got her a kitchen for her bday and she loves it!!  She will play with it for hours.  She makes a mess and we have play food everywhere but its ok.  She went in for her 2 year old doctor appointment and she is 35 inches (90%) is 32.8 lbs (95%) and her head is 19.25 inches (80%).  She will definitively be taller than me!  We love you Tayah!!

Seth's Birthday.

Oh how I love my husband, and I know that he never reads this blog but still wanted to tell him how much I love him and since he is 26 now I thought I would write 26 things that I love most (sorry if I get too sappy :))

So as I was doing my makeup one day my phone rang and somehow Tayah got a hold of my eye makeup primer and put it ALL over her face.

I couldn't help but laugh and she was so proud of herself. She kept saying makeup mommy! Silly girl!

Little of this and that

Nothing too exciting around our house lately. Seth had spring break this past week which was wonderful! I was so not ready for him to go back today. He is such a big help and is so willing to do anything. We didn't do anything too exciting but spend a lot of time together which is what we wanted. A lot of park days because the weather has been sooo nice! I can only hope it stays this good for awhile.

After dinner last night Seth made Oreo shakes. Tayah kept saying cookies and ice cream silly daddy. I don't know she really got it but it was funny! Tayah insisted on having her own cup. I tried to get the picture when the mustache was at its best but I didn't quite make it. She made sure she got every last drop of the shake.

White Coat

Last Friday Seth got his White Coat from Dental School. I couldn't be more proud. He is working so hard. They now will be working in the Clinic working on patients.

Dentist and Playing

I took Tayah to the Dentist for the first time last week. I was a little nervous of how she would do. She had been a little sick the day before but I had already canceled her last appointment cuz she was sick so I thought we better just go.

On our way. Her sunglasses have to been worn every time we get into the. Sometimes even if it is dark outside.

Their waiting room was awesome. There was soooo many toys and two tvs and games the kids could play with. Tayah was in heaven. We went back into the room and the dental assistant gave Tayah a bag with a new toothbrush, toothpaste, floss(which she hates to do by the way), and some tattoos.

She sat in the chair totally fine, until the dental assistant tried to brush her teeth then it was all over. She wanted nothing to do with her or the chair. So she brought Tay a balloon and that helped a little but still didn't want to get back into the chair.

The Dentist came in and was so nice. He let Tayah just lay on my lap and his too. She hated it but he was so calm and patient with him. And was fast. He said that she will probably have to get braces when she is about 8 years old cuz of the crowding of her teeth already. Not what I wanted to hear but I knew it was coming.

After the Dentist we went to the park and had lunch and Tayah played. She loves the park. Especially the swings. Once she starts she never wants to stop.

She can pretty much climb up everything and go down the slides by herself now. She is getting so much braver which makes me happy but scares me at the same time.

Way Behind.....

I know it has been way too long since I have updated so I hope you are ready for lots of pictures!! Lets start where I left off, Halloween. Tayah was a clown for Halloween and I am pretty sure she was the cutest clown I have ever seen!!! I got the idea for it off Etsy and I recreated it the best that I could with my moms help!

Tayah at the ward Trunk or treat. She was playing with a spider and trying to scare Seth with it. It was pretty funny.

Next comes thanksgiving but unfortuntately I didn't take any pictures! We spend it in Overton at Seth's parents. It was a lot of fun to have all the family together and to eat lots of food!!

Now December!! I swear these last two months have gone by so fast. But I am not complaining cuz that means Seth has completed his first sememster of Dental School!! Only three and a half years to go!! He did so good and I couldn't be prouder of him. He worked so hard and was dedicated.

We spent Christmas in St George with my family. I really have so much fun when all of my brothers and their wives and kids and sister and her son all get together. We always laugh so hard and have such a good time.

Christmas morning we woke Tayah up and headed upstairs to see what Santa brought her. She really didn't know what to think. Probably cuz she was still half asleep but once she saw her baby and her stocking she instantly wanted to start to play with them.

After 3 or 4 presents she was done and didn't want to open anymore cuz she wanted to play with what she already had. She was so much fun to watch her reaction and how excited she was. Christmas is so much fun with kids!!
After everyone was done opening presents we had a delicious breakfast and then got ready for church.

I love this time of year and am enjoying it so much!! Seth still has one week off of school so we are enjoying him home and love spending time with him!!
